Local architecture and design students will shape the future - quite literally giving form to new ideas and new ways of living. Their innovative ideas are exhibited annually at the Center / Architecture + Design to allow the public insight into how local students are addressing the critical issues which affect us all: from homes designed to help dementia patients find their way around and offices designed to allow new ways of working to consumer products sensitive to our changing climate and useable by young and old alike. Join us to investigate these important concepts and to celebrate these student's creative solutions.
Local architecture and design schools featured in this exhibition include:
- Charter High School for Architecture and Design
- Community College of Philadelphia
- Drexel University
- Moore College of Art + Design
- Philadelphia University
- Temple University
- University of the Arts
- University of Pennsylvania
Our Reception + Panel Discussion and Portfolio Review + College Fair, both presented in conjunction with this exhibition, are unique annual opportunities for potential and current design students to meet and discuss architecture and design trends with their counterparts, with representatives from local schools and firms, and perhaps to discover a new career!
