There are a number of different entry points for enrolling in the AAO Network. Dues for organizational members are scaled by budget size and discounts may apply for certain international organizations. Individual membership levels vary depending on how active you wish to be in our knowledge communities. Read more for a specific listing of benefits.

 

Associate Member

(Open to individuals only)
$60 USD/year

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • Invitations to all AAO Member events
  • Access to special worldwide architecture events at participating AAO member sites
  • Subscription to monthly AAO e-News
  • Recognition (text credit) in membership rolls

 

Educator/Student Member

(Open to students/teachers actively affiliated with an educational institution) 
$45 USD/year

ALL THE ABOVE BENEFITS PLUS:

  • Enrollment in the AAO Network/listserv for design educators

 

Individual Member

$125 USD/year

ALL THE ABOVE BENEFITS PLUS:

  • Unlimited enrollment in the AAO Networks/listservs of your choice
  • Discounted registration to annual AAO Conference

 

Organizational Member

$500 USD/year (Operating budgets of $250,000 and above)
$250 USD/year (Operating budgets up to $249,999)

  • Enrollment of up to 6 staff and/or volunteers in AAO Networks/listservs
  • Discounted registration to annual AAO Conference for up to 6 staff and/or volunteers
  • Logo recognition and organizational profile in interactive Member Directory

 

Founding Member

4-year pledge at $1,000 USD/year 

ALL THE ABOVE BENEFITS PLUS:

  • Permanent listing as a “Founding Member of AAO”
  • Prominent recognition on AAO literature and website

Applicants from some areas of the world may be eligible for an annual dues discount, based upon the yearly World Bank's World Development Indicators. Please Contact Us to see if you qualify.

  • Low-income economies receive 66% discount on annual dues
  • Lower-middle-income economies receive 50% discount on annual dues
  • Upper-middle-income economies receive 33% discount on annual dues
