Dear Friends and AAO members:
We are pleased to announce that the 2021 Design Matters Conference will once again be held as a virtual event. This year’s conference will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 2 and 3.
We will again endeavor to keep registration fees affordable and offer generous discounts to AAO members, to multiple ticket purchasers, and to furloughed staff. We were thrilled to see all levels of staff participating in last year’s meeting—from interns to executive directors—and no doubt the low ticket fees helped in part to bring this about.
Later this spring we will be announcing a number of different ways you or your organization can participate in the conference, along with some specific lines of inquiry that will run throughout the meeting. For now, we ask you to please Save the Date for December 2 and 3.
These are challenging times and the Design Matters Conference more than ever presents a vital opportunity to share knowledge, meet potential new collaborators, and increase your organizational capacity. Thank you as always for your interest and active participation.
